Owners give Southgate House a new name

NEWPORT, Ky. - A Northern Kentucky landmark is now supporting a new name.
The new owners of the Southgate House plan to change the name to "Thompson House".
The historic building is located on Third Street in Newport, right across from the Levee. The Southgate House closed after a New Year's Eve concert this year.
The owners say "Thompson House" will be a similar music venue to the Southgate House. They plan to reopen in March.
