Sophomore forward Luke Treadway scored twice and added an assist as Scott beat Pendleton County, 4-2 in a Region 10 quarterfinal at Harrison County on Tuesday.

The Eagles opened the scoring nine minutes into the match when senior defender Pauly Paganetto knocked in a throw-in from senior defender Eric Olano.

The Wildcats tied the match three minutes later, but Treadway netted both of his goals before halftime to put Scott ahead for good.

Treadway also set up the Eagles’ final goal, scored by junior Tanner Cox in the second half to ice the match.

Scott will face Montgomery County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday in a regional semifinal.

HALFTIME: 3-1. GOALS: S—Treadway 2, Paganetto, Cox. PC—Harper 2. RECORDS: Scott 13-11, Pendleton County 9-14.

OLDHAM COUNTY 2, SIMON KENTON 1, 2 OT – Junior Brendan Scott scored the decisive goal with 3:37 remaining in the second extra session of an 8th Region semifinal at South Oldham.

Scott dribbled in to the top of the penalty box and fired the ball off the inside of the post and into the net from 18 yards out.

Junior midfielder Cory Knaley netted the Pioneers’ goal off a corner kick midway through the second half.

HALFTIME: Oldham County, 1-0. GOALS: OC—Kemper, Scott. SK—Knaley. RECORDS: Oldham County 13-8-2, Simon Kenton 14-7-2.
