10/4 VB: Lambert helps Boone top Scott

Junior middle hitter Stephanie Lambert finished with 22 kills and 16 blocks as Boone County (23-8) defeated Scott (10-19), 25-14, 24-26, 25-9, 25-19 on Thursday.

Junior outside hitter Sara Sutton tacked on 12 kills and five aces to lead the Rebels to their fifth straight win to wrap up the regular season.

BROSSART BEATS COOPER – Senior middle hitter Tori Hackworth rolled up nine kills and five aces as Brossart (20-12) defeated Cooper (17-11), 27-25, 25-16, 25-21 on Thursday.

Senior outside hitter Taylor Leick added seven kills and 10 digs as the Mustangs finished their regular season with three consecutive wins.

CONNER DOWNS DIXIE – Senior middle hitter Elizabeth Sullenbarger tallied 12 kills and two blocks as Conner (10-14) defeated Dixie Heights (2-24), 25-16, 25-15, 25-16.

Senior middle hitter Margo Goetting chipped in six kills for the Cougars, who extended their winning streak to three entering the postseason.

SIMON KENTON SINKS WILLIAMSTOWN – Senior outside hitter Samatha Eudy racked up 12 kills as Simon Kenton (22-12) defeated Williamstown (11-21), 25-12, 25-13, 25-10.

Senior libero Kelsey Cunningham recorded 15 kills in the Pioneers’ win.
