Sophomore forward Katlyn Hoeh scored all 10 of her points in the fourth quarter as Newport beat Calvary Christian, 47-29 on Thursday.
Hoeh was 8-for-8 from the free throw line to help the Wildcats pull away late. Newport finished the game perfect on 10 foul shots (freshman Shaunye Stanley hit the other two).
Junior forward Courtney Kilburn led the Wildcats in scoring with 12 points.
Senior guard McKenzie Rusch tallied 12 points for the Cougars.
