Sophomore guard Tori Wofford scored 12 first-quarter points to help Ludlow build an early 12-point lead as the Panthers beat Dayton, 54-44 on Monday.
Wofford led all scorers with 15 points, and she grabbed 10 rebounds.
Freshman guard Mariah Green-Murphy added 11 points, and senior center Emily Kroger chipped in 10 for Ludlow.

Senior center Hannah Neeley led Owen County with 22 points.
Beechwood was led by eighth-grade guard Ally Johnson’s 21 points and freshman guard Macy Stuempel’s 12.

PENDLETON COUNTY 67, ST. PATRICK 56 – Wildcats seniors forward Taylor McClanahan and guard Bradi Boden scored six points each during the decisive third quarter.
McClanahan, who finished 9-for-10 from the free throw line, rolled up a team-high 23 points, and Boden tallied 21.
Saints senior Mckayla Likins poured in a game-best 30 points.
