Scott stormed back from a 10-point fourth quarter deficit to edge Bourbon County, 55-53 on Saturday.
Sophomore guard Jenna Trimpe hit two of her three 3-pointers during the Eagles’ run, finishing with 12 points. Allyson Niece, a seventh-grader, added 11 points for Scott.
Bourbon County sported a youth movement of its own, getting 18 points from freshman guard Anovia Byars and 16 from sophomore Asia Sims.

SIMON KENTON 71, GRANT COUNTY 25 — Eleven members of the Lady Pioneers scored as Simon Kenton cruised to the win.
Junior guard Abby Owings led the way with 17 points, including four 3-pointers, as Simon Kenton darted to an early lead then held Grant County to only seven second-half points with the new running-clock rule.
Paige Bosse added 13 points and Christina Cook 11 to the Pioneers' total.

WALTON-VERONA 67, SOUTH OLDHAM 43 — Walton-Verona broke away in the third quarter, outscoring the Dragons 20-6 during the stanza.
The Bearcats offense was dangerous from outside, nailing eight 3-pointers — with two each from Molly Clinkenbeard, Allie Mills and Shelby Mullikin — compared to none for South Oldham.
The Bearcats' Courtney Sandlin led all scorers with 18, followed by teammate Liz McAdams' 13.

The Thoroughbreds had 10 players score, led by junior Nicole Kiernan's 13 and Stephanie Lewis' 12.
Orr led Newport with six points, coming on a pair of treys.

COOPER 56, DIXIE HEIGHTS 50 — The Lady Jags outlasted Dixie Heights to take the win in the Dixie Invitational consolation game behind Paige Ross' 19 points and 11 apiece from Katey Pittman and Savannah Brinneman.
Ross, a junior guard, nailed a trio of three-pointers as Cooper steadily built a lead in the first half. Dixie pulled within a point midway through the second half, led by 18 points from sophomore center Liza Tibbs.
