   Junior guard Brandon Hatton hit a free throw with 4.9 seconds remaining to lift Dixie Heights over Highlands, 60-59 on Tuesday.

   Hatton racked up a team-high 20 points for the Colonels, who won their fourth consecutive game.

   Junior guard Adam Daria added 12 points for Dixie Heights, including four in a third quarter that saw the Colonels take a four-point lead after trailing by three at the half.

   The Bluebirds, who suffered their first loss of the season, were led by junior guard Drew Houliston’s 22 points.

   COOPER 50, CAMPBELL COUNTY 46 – Jaguars junior guard Spencer Holland hit a free throw with six seconds left to ice the game.

   Holland and sophomore forward Colin Hathorn finished with 10 points each, and senior forward Louis Maniacci grabbed eight rebounds to pace Cooper, which won its third straight game.

   Camels junior guard Corey Holbrook rolled up a game-best 26 points.

   HOLMES 71, ST. HENRY 57 – Bulldogs sophomore guard James Bolden scored 17 points in the first half and finished with a game-high 26 points.

   Junior forward Quinton Chames and senior forward Chris Englemon added 13 points for Holmes, which won its seventh straight game to open the season.

   Sophomore forward Connor Kunstek led the Crusaders with 17 points.

   COVINGTON CATHOLIC 97, CONNER 62 – Junior guard Nick Ruthsatz poured in 23 points and dished for eight assists in the Colonels’ win.

   CovCath had a 20-point by the end of the first quarter, with senior guard Nick Fredrick scoring 10 and Ruthsatz adding eight.

   Fredrick was 4-for-4 from the field that period, and the Colonels finished the frame 13-of-17 from the field and 5-for-6 from behind the arc.

   Junior guard Nate Wichmann led CovCath on the boards with eight rebounds.

   Conner junior forward Samuel Hemmerich led all scorers with 32 points.

   PENDLETON COUNTY 45, BEECHWOOD 42 – Senior guard Mason Monroe hit both of his 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to help the Wildcats hold off the Tigers.

   Monroe finished with a game-high 18 points.

   Beechwood senior forward Chase Maus, who rolled up a team-best 15 points, hit a shot at the buzzer to cut the final deficit to three. Sophomore guard Jacob Huff added 12 points for the Tigers, including six in the final period.
