Turner rolls up 28 points for Bulldogs

   Sophomore guard Deja Turner was 7-for-7 from the foul line in the fourth quarter as Holmes held off Campbell County, 76-73 on Thursday.

   Turner converted all 13 of her foul shots for the game, tallying 28 points for the game. Senior guard Tamra Holder added 23 in the Bulldogs’ win.

   Senior guard Taylor Robinson rolled up 23 points for the Camels.

   COOPER 61, ST. HENRY 33 – Jaguars junior guard Paige Ross scored 10 of her team-best 16 points in the third quarter, including a pair of 3-pointers.

   Junior guard Savannah Brinneman added 11 points for Cooper, and senior guard Andrea Thompson chipped in 10 – six in the first quarter to help the Jaguars jump out to a 13-point lead.

   Sophomore center Savannah Neace paced the Crusaders with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

   SCOTT 52, CALVARY CHRISTIAN 36 – The Eagles opened up a 13-point lead in the second quarter, thanks to six points each by senior guard Landon Brefeld and seventh-grade guard Ally Niece.

   Brefeld hit all three of her field goal attempts in that period, and she finished with a team-high 13 points.

   Senior guard Kenzie Rusch scored a game-best 15 points to lead the Cougars.
