Senior DeAsia Beal dominated inside, scoring 28 points, to help Holy Cross beat St. Henry, 60-55 in overtime to remain unbeaten.

After the Crusaders’ Karly Lehmkuhl forced overtime with two free throws with no time remaining in regulation, the Indians hit free throws to seal the win in the extra period.

Beal, who led all in points finished the night shooting 14-of-21 from the free throw line in addition to her seven field goals.

St. Henry was led by senior forward Morgan Potts’ 14 points and 10 from sophomore Jordan Miller.

CONNER 73, LEXINGTON TATES CREEK 59 – Conner got career highs from senior Jordan Scott and junior guard Brooke Maines as the Cougars moved to 8-0 on the season.

Scott scored 24 points and snared 12 rebounds for her seventh double-double of the season, adding seven assists to her stat line as well.

Meanwhile, Maines went for 17 in the win, helping to counterbalance Tates’ Katie Pippen, who scored a game-high 27 for the Commodores.

VILLA MADONNA 41, CALVARY CHRISTIAN 32 – Senior Lauren Dumaine hit three quick treys as the Blue Lightning jumped out to an early double-digit lead.

Dumaine finished with 14 points and Alex Hengge added 10 for the Blue Lightning. Meanwhile senior Morgan Case grabbed 10 rebounds and had seven steals to help Villa to the win.

The Cougars were led by senior Zania Caudill’s 14 points, one of only four players to score for Calvary Christian.

WALTON-VERONA 55, LLOYD 32 – The Bearcats grabbed a 20-point lead early, then rolled to the win over the Juggernauts.

Courtney Sandlin scored a game-high 19 points, Michele Judy chipped in 11 and Liz McAdams grabbed 11 rebounds as Walton-Verona bounced back from Thursday’s loss at Dunbar.

McAdams also scored six while Sandlin added eight rebounds to the Bearcacts’ effort.

Lloyd was led by Shelby Rudd’s 11-point performance and 10 points from Victoria Stagge.

SIMON KENTON 60, SOUTH OLDHAM 46 – The Pioneers stayed perfect, steadily pulling away from South Oldham behind Paige Bosse’s 16 points and another 14 from Abby Owings on the road.

The Dragons had only one player in double figures, as senior guard Kayla Mullins finished with 10 points.

Dixie Heights also got 12 points from senior Meggie Malone to fuel the win.
