   Freshman guard Koby Carlton’s late 3-pointer forced overtime, and his free throws late in the extra session lifted Gallatin County to a 52-47 win over Henry County on Tuesday.

   Carlton hit a trey with nine seconds left in regulation, tying the score at 41. He drained a pair of foul shots in the final minute of OT to seal the win for the Wildcats.

   Senior guard Kristian Morgan led Gallatin County with 16 points, and Carlton added 11.

   HOLMES 68, RYLE 47 – Bulldogs sophomore guard James Bolden scored 11 of his 15 points in his team’s 27-point fourth quarter to blow the game open.

   Three other Holmes players reached double figures – senior guard B.J. Coston led all scorers with 18 points, senior forward Chris Englemon finished with 16 and senior guard Daquan Palmer added 11.

   The Bulldogs remained perfect through 21 games and have seven regular-season games remaining.

   Senior guard Drew Mays rolled up a team-high 17 points for the Raiders, who shot just 4-of-16 from the free throw line.

   NEWPORT CENTRAL CATHOLIC 59, HIGHLANDS 22 – Sophomore guard Zach Pangallo led 10 Thoroughbreds scorers with 12 points.

   Junior center Jake Schulte tallied 11 points for NewCath, which held the Bluebirds to nine points through the first three quarters.

   The Thoroughbreds extended their winning streak to five games.

   Freshman center Carson Williams racked up 12 points and 13 rebounds as Owen County improved to 10-1 in its last 11 games.

   Eminence freshman guard Jalen Dixie led all scorers with 30 points.

   SCOTT 83, CAMPBELL COUNTY 57 – Eagles senior forward Nick Jackson hit five fourth-quarter free throws and scored nine points in the final frame to ice the game.

   Jackson rolled up a game-high 24 points, and senior guard Josh Felts notched 18 as Scott improved to 3-0 in district play.

   Junior Corey Holbrook paced the Camels with 20 points, and senior Nate McGovney added 18.

   DIXIE HEIGHTS 68, LLOYD 36 – Junior guard Brandon Hatton poured in 11 points in the first quarter to help the Colonels take a 12-point lead.

   Hatton led 11 Dixie Heights scorers with 21 points, and sophomore forward Andrew Hedger racked up 11.

   Senior guard Niko Carter was the lone Juggernaut in double figures, finishing with 10 points.

   Senior guard Andy Piccirillo tallied 16 points and eighth-grade guard Cole VonHandorf had 13 for Villa Madonna, which improved to 9-9 on the season.

   The Big Trains fell to 3-15.
