Holmes moved to 14-0 on the season, beating Lincoln County, 46-29, Friday night in the Rock Holiday Classic semifinals.
Trailing by a point at half, the Bulldogs were propelled by Daquan Palmer in the second half to advance.
Palmer hit four three-pointers after the break, scoring 18 of his game-high 22 points in the second half to lift Holmes. James Bolden and Brennon Englemon both added eight points to the Bulldogs' win. Lincoln County was led by senior center Luke Hill's 12 points.
Holmes will look to remain perfect in the tournament's final at 8 p.m. Saturday against Mars, Pa. High. The Fighting Planets are 6-1 on the season.

COVINGTON CATHOLIC 66, CONNER 34 — The Colonels got a game-high 16 points from Nick Ruthsatz and 10 apiece by Sawyer Pauly and Mark Schult to push their record to 10-1, defeating Conner at the Lloyd Invitational Tournament. CovCath shot 50 percent from the field in the first half to build an 18-point lead.
Conner was led by Drew Barker's 10 points.

NEWPORT CENTRAL CATHOLIC 67, RUSSELL 61 — NewCath led throughout, holding off a late Russell County charge by hitting their free throws down the stretch in the Ashland Invitational.
The Thoroughbreds were led by Michael Bueter's game-high 21 points, getting 16 points from Jake Schulte and 15 from Drew McDonald as well.
The Red Devils were led by Jake Porter's 17 points.
