   Junior guard Abby Stadtmiller led three Mustangs in double figures with 13 points as Brossart beat Murray, 61-49 in the first round of the All ‘A’ state tournament at Frankfort on Wednesday.

   Junior center Sarah Futcher and junior forward Cori Ziegler added 10 points each for the Mustangs, who will face Frankfort at 8:30 a.m. on Friday.

   NEWPORT CENTRAL CATHOLIC 58, PINEVILLE 32 – Sophomore forward Alexus Mayes rolled up 17 points in the first round of the All ‘A’ state tournament.

   Junior forward Stephanie Lewis added 13 points and junior forward Nicole Kiernan finished with 10 for NewCath, which will play Webster County at 10 a.m. on Friday.

   NEWPORT 64, CINCINNATI OYLER 34 – Freshman guard Kylie Orr rolled up a season-high 20 points for the Wildcats, and she grabbed nine rebounds.

   Freshman guard Ash-lynn Hensley added 14 points, and freshman forward Shaunye Stanley finished with 10 rebounds as Newport won their third straight game.
