Conner rallied from a six-point deficit in the final 90 seconds to edge Simon Kenton, 76-74 on Tuesday.
The Cougars scored the final eight points of the game after trailing, 74-68 with 1:30 remaining. Junior forward Sammuel Hemmerich scored his second basket of the run off a steal from sophomore Nick Watts to give Conner a 75-74 lead with 30 seconds left.
Senior center Brady Padgett added three points during the Cougars’ final 8-0 run.
Hemmerich led all scorers with 23 points and Padgett added 22.
Simon Kenton was led by senior guard Trevor Montgomery’s 21 points and 20 by senior guard Andrew Sampson.

RYLE 64, BOONE COUNTY 62, OT – Raiders senior forward Mark Fussenegger scored five points in overtime and finished with a game-high 22 points.
Ryle, which remained perfect through three games, scored the final six points of the extra session.
Senior guard Drew Mays added 19 points, and junior forward Will Stuhr chipped in 16 in the Raiders’ win.
Sophomore forward Brendan Stanley led the Rebels with 16 points.

NEWPORT 73, HOLY CROSS 68 – After the Indians tied the score at 63, senior forward Cody Pearson scored four straight points to put the Wildcats ahead for good.
Junior guard Jaquan Short followed by knocking down the final six Newport points.
Short tallied 28 points, and Pearson poured in 22. Both were career highs.
Senior guard Christian McClendon led Holy Cross with 23 points.

SCOTT 83, HARRISON COUNTY 79 – The Thorobreds cut into the Eagles’ double-digit lead in the fourth quarter but were only able to pull to within four points.
Seniors forward Nick Jackson and guard Josh Felts both knocked down 5-of-6 free throws in the fourth quarter to maintain Scott’s lead.
Jackson poured in a game-high 33 points, and Felts finished with 14.

Ripy hit three of Owen County’s four 3-pointers, connecting on 3 of 5 shots from behind the arc.
Freshman forward Carson Williams rolled up 13 points and nine rebounds, and senior center Justin Williams grabbed 15 boards for the Rebels.
