Holmes remained unbeaten behind a 25-point performance by James Bolden, rolling past Beechwood, 88-62, Friday night at home.

Bolden was one of four Bulldogs finishing in double figures as Holmes posted its highest output of the season and ran their record to 22-0. Brennon Englemon and Rashawn Coston scored 13 points apiece and Quinton Chames added 12 for Holmes, while Bolden also contributed seven steals.

The Tigers were led by Jacob Huff's 23 points, while Max Nussbaum scored 11 and Chase Maus 10.

NEWPORT CENTRAL CATHOLIC 60, LOUISVILLE HOLY CROSS 46 — Drew McDonald scored 17, Jake Schulte 14 and Michael Bueter 12 as NewCath cruised into the All 'A' Classic semifinals with a win over Holy Cross.

Schulte also had 10 rebounds to earn the double-double.

The Thoroughbreds will face Knott Central (20-3) Saturday for a berth in Sunday's championship.

BISHOP BROSSART 62, RUSSELL 46 — Drew Burns scored 16 points and Alex Trentman added 15, pacing Brossart to their quarterfinal win in the All A Classic.

The duo were joined by Ben Uebel (12 points) and Justin Saunders (11) in double figures for the Mustangs, who advanced to face Bardstown (17-5) in Saturday's semifinal matchup.

Kyle Skaggs led Russell with a game-high 21 points.

VILLA MADONNA 64, DAYTON 24 — The Blue Lightning moved to back over .500, cruising past Dayton on the road.

Villa Madonna got 19 points from Cole VonHandorf and 13 from backcourt mate Andy Piccirillo to pace thee offense, while Troy Phelps joined them in double figures with 10 points.

Senior Derek Holt provided the lion's share of the Greendevil scoring, finishing with 14 points.

ST. HENRY 58, LLOYD 30 — The Crusaders got off to an early lead, then kept their foot on the gas, rolling past Lloyd to get back in the win column.

Darius Meiman led St. Henry in scoring with 15 points, while Zach Carr added 10. Lloyd, which lost its sixth in a row, was led by Jarice Ewell's 11 points.

BOONE COUNTY 72, CONNER 58 — Boone shot 66 percent from the field, pulling away late to upend Conner.

The Rebels, led by Brenden Stanley's 21 points, turned a slim lead into a 14-point advantage late by outscoring the Cougars, 28-18, in the fourth quarter.

Jesse Schulze scored 12 points and Brannen McDonald 11, while Brett Mayberry dished eight assists to help pace the Rebels.

Sam Hemmerich led the Conner effort with a game-high 23 points.
