Senior guard Andrea Thompson tied Cooper’s single-game scoring mark, and she set the team’s all-time points record in a 70-28 win over Cincinnati Taft on Thursday.
Thompson finished with 29 points – with 21 coming in the first half – and she now has 657 points for her career.
Junior forward Savannah Brinneman added 21 points for Cooper, which won its third straight game.

HIGHLANDS 55, BROSSART 51 – Senior forward Leah Schaefer hit a pair of free throws in the final minute to extend the Bluebirds’ lead to three.
Senior forward Jesse Daley led Highlands with 20 points and 10 rebounds, freshman guard Haley Coffey added 12 and Schaefer finished with 11.
Junior guard Abby Stadtmiller rolled up a team-high 17 points for the Mustangs, who lost their first game of the season.

Ryle senior guard Katie Connor added 15 points, hitting 5 of 6 3-pointers.
The Raiders finished 9 of 14 from 3-point range, and they went 16-for-17 from the foul line.
