Conner's high-powered offense proved too much for Beechwood, as the Cougars jumped out to a big lead and cruised to a 5-0 record, winning 81-58 over Beechwood on Friday night.

The Conner offense, averaging nearly 70 points a game, was led by senior guard Emily Pluto's 19 points against the Tigers, as freshman Hunter Hendricks and junior Brooke Maines joined her in double figures.

Beechwood's Macy Stuempel, a freshman, matched Pluto's scoring output, and Beechwood got 14 points from eighth-grader Kimi Stokes, but was overpowered by Conner's offense.
