CovCath junior guard Nick Ruthsatz celebrated his birthday a little early, scoring a season-high 30 points to lead the Colonels to a 59-53 win over Moeller on Saturday night.
Tied heading into the fourth quarter, the Colonels hit nine of 10 free throw attempts down the stretch to seal the win. Ruthsatz hit four three-pointers on his way to his total, while sophomore Bo Shuh added 13 points for CovCath.
Moeller, suffering their first loss of the season, was led by Josh Davenport's 16 points.

RICHMOND MODEL 74, BEECHWOOD 63 — The Tigers got a game-high 22 points from Jacob Huff and 17 from Chase Maus, but couldn't overcome Richwood Model's balance at the Berea Classic.
Model had four players in double figures scoring, led by A.J. Hammons' 17. Brendon Hill added 15 points for the Patriots, followed by Jon Ballard's 14 and 12 from Anthony Gerald in the win.

DIXIE HEIGHTS 65, CAMPBELL COUNTY 58 — Trailing by 10 at the break, the Dixie Heights offense came alive in the second half to go on for the win.
Pulling even at the beginning of the fourth quarter, Dixie outscored the Camels by eight down the stretch for the win.
Colonels guard Brandon Hatton scored 12 of his game-high 29 points in the second half, and finished with 11 rebounds. Adam Daria added 10 points to the Colonels' effort.
The Camels were led by junior guard Corey Holbrook's 21 points and 14 from Deondre Jackson.
