Sophomore guard James Bolden scored Holmes’ last 10 points as the Bulldogs remained unbeaten by sinking Covington Catholic, 71-60 on Tuesday.
Bolden led all scorers with 27 points in Holmes’ 17th straight win.
Bulldogs senior guard B.J. Coston added 17 points, and senior forward Chris Englemon chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Senior guard Nick Fredrick paced the Colonels with 18 points, and senior forward Sawyer Pauly hit a 70-foot shot at the end of the first half.

CAMPBELL COUNTY 55, CONNER 51 – Senior guard Nate McGovney hit 7-of-8 free throws in the fourth quarter to ice the game for the Camels.
McGovney and freshman center Matt Wilson led Campbell County with 14 points each. Wilson scored 10 of his points in the third quarter, and he grabbed four rebounds.
Cougars junior Samuel Hemmerich finished with a game-high 16 points.
