   Senior guard Taylor Robinson scored her 1,000th career points as Campbell County beat Dixie Heights, 53-42 on Monday.

   Robinson needed nine points to reach that milestone entering the game, and she hit a field goal early in the third quarter to hit four figures.

   She scored six points in the fourth quarter to help put the game away, finishing with a game-best 21 points.

   Senior center Kaytlyn Siegmundt added 14 points – including seven in the final period – as the Camels started the game on an 11-0 run and never trailed.

   MONTGOMERY COUNTY 50, BROSSART 49 – Junior guard Morgan Verst hit a potentially game-tying outside shot at the buzzer, but her foot was on the 3-point line.

   Junior forward Sarah Futscher led the Mustangs with 14 points and seven rebounds, giving her 996 career points, giving her a chance to eclipse the 1,000 mark in Brossart’s regular season finale vs. St. Patrick on Saturday.

   Junior guards Madison Eisenman and Abby Stadtmiller chipped in 13 points each for the Mustangs. Eisenman also grabbed six rebounds, dished for six assists and stole the ball seven times.

   SIMON KENTON 57, HOLY CROSS 54 – Junior guard Abby Owings went 7-for-8 from the foul line in the fourth quarter to help the Pioneers hold on for the win.

   Owings connected on 11 of her 14 free throws for the game. She and senior forward Paige Bosse finished with 16 points each as Simon Kenton won its fifth straight game.

   WALTON-VERONA 53, GALLATIN COUNTY 49 – Senior center Michele Judy scored eight of her game-high 18 points in the fourth quarter to seal the game for the Bearcats.

   Senior guard Molly Clinkenbeard added nine points – all on 3-pointers – as Walton-Verona won for the fifth time in the last six games.

   SCOTT 68, HARRISON COUNTY 55 – Seventh-grade Ally Niece scored 11 of her team-best 17 points in the first quarter as the Eagles took a 13-point lead by the end of the period.

   Sophomore guard Jenna Trimpe added 16 points for Scott, who have won seven of its last 10 games.

   VILLA MADONNA 56, CARROLL COUNTY 31 – Senior guard Allie Hennard recorded a game-high 16 points, plus three assists in two steals.

   Seven of Hennard’s points came in the second quarter as the Blue Lightning took a nine-point lead into the locker room.

   Freshman guard Jenna McGuire added 10 points for Villa Madonna, converting 6-of-7 free throws.
