Senior guard Phillip Jefferson hit a 3-pointer as time expired to lift Bracken County to a 59-56 win over Villa Madonna on Wednesday.
Jefferson finished with a game-high 27 points.
The Blue Lightning were led by senior guard Andy Piccirillo’s 19 and 12 by eighth-grade guard Cole Von Handorf.

WALTON-VERONA 73, LLOYD 62 – Junior guard Tanner Moeves racked up 28 points, including 13 in the first quarter as the Bearcats jumped out to an early 12-point lead.
Moeves’ brother, sophomore guard Grant Moeves, tallied 19 points. Grant Moeves scored 13 of his points in the third quarter.
