   Cooper senior guard A.J. Collins hit a 3-pointer in the final seconds of regulation, and the Jaguars went on to beat Conner, 72-68 in double overtime in a District 33 semifinal at Boone County on Wednesday.

   Jaguars junior guard Spencer Holland scored four points in the second extra session to help seal the game. Holland equaled a game best with 27 points.

   Senior forward Louis Maniacci added 14 points and junior guard Zachary McNeil tallied 11 in the Cooper win.

   Junior Samuel Hemmerich paced the Cougars with 27 points.

   The Jaguars will play Ryle in the district final at 7 p.m. on Friday.

   RYLE 69, BOONE COUNTY 51 – Senior center Will Stuhr scored 23 points – eight in the first quarter – and grabbed 23 rebounds for the Raiders in a District 33 semifinal at Boone County.

   Senior guard Drew Mays chipped in 13 points for Ryle, which will play Cooper in the district final at 7 p.m. on Friday.

   Junior guard Hunter Hixenbaugh poured in 10 points in the Rebels’ loss.

   DIXIE HEIGHTS 50, LLOYD 34 – Colonels junior guard Brandon Hatton led all scorers with 21 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, in a District 34 semifinal at Ludlow.

   Sophomore forward Nick Niehaus recorded nine points for Dixie Heights, which will play St. Henry in the championship game at 7 p.m. on Friday.

   Senior guard Niko Carter scored 17 points for Lloyd, breaking the 1,000-point mark for his career in his final game.

   ST. HENRY 67, LUDLOW 36 – Crusaders senior guard Darius Meiman and junior center Jordan Noble combined for 24 first-half points in a District 34 semifinal at Ludlow.

   Meiman led 12 St. Henry scorers with 19 points, and Noble tallied 10.

   Senior forward Chris Camarena paced the Panthers will 11 points.

   The Crusaders will play Dixie Heights in the district title game at 7 p.m. on Friday.

   HOLMES 66, BEECHWOOD 42 – Sophomore guard James Bolden rolled up a game-high 28 points to key the Bulldogs’ win in a District 35 semifinal at Holmes.

   Holmes led by just seven entering the fourth quarter, but Bolden netted seven of his points in the final period to blow the game open.

   Senior guard B.J. Coston, senior forward Chris Englemon and junior forward Quinton Chames chipped in 10 points each for the Bulldogs. Englemon grabbed 16 rebounds.

   The Tigers were place by senior guard Brandon Marksberry, who racked up 15 points.

   Holmes will play Covington Catholic in the district final at 7 p.m. on Friday.

   NEWPORT 67, BELLEVUE 57 – The Wildcats made 12 late free throws to hold off the Tigers in a 36th District semifinal at Highlands.

   Senior forwards Arroyal Wright and Jasean Short led Newport with 17 points each, and senior forward Marquis Commodore and senior guard Cody Pearson chipped in 11

each.

   Bellevue senior Joseph Hornback led all scorers with 19 points.
