Sophomore forward Victoria Stagge made six of 10 free throws in the fourth quarter as Lloyd held on for a 50-45 win against Ludlow in the 34th District tournament Monday night at Lloyd.
The Juggernauts led, 35-22, entering the fourth quarter, but freshman guard Tori Wofford scored 10 points, including two 3-pointers, to lead the Panthers comeback attempt.
Wofford finished with 17 points, matching the game-high total of Lloyd’s Shelby Rudd.
Rudd had eight of her points, including two of her three 3-pointers, in the second quarter when the Juggernauts moved ahead, 22-13, by holding Ludlow to just one Mariah Johnson basket.
Danielle Cheatum added 12 points for Lloyd, who moves on to play St. Henry 6 p.m. Tuesday in the semifinals at Lloyd.
