   Senior forward McKell Oliverio became the fifth Ryle girls’ basketball player to record 1,000 points in the Raiders’ 46-43 loss at Lexington Dunbar on Saturday.

   Oliverio, daughter of coach Patti Oliverio, needed 14 points to reach that milestone. She scored 12 points in the first quarter and hit a jumper from the corner in the second quarter.

   Oliverio finished with a game-best 18 points, and senior guard Dawn Johnson tallied 12 in her third game back from injury.

   Ryle missed a potentially game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer.

   HIGHLANDS 44, WALTON-VERONA 40 – Freshman guard Brianna Adler knocked down a pair of free throws with five seconds left to ice the game for the Bluebirds.

   Senior forward Leah Schaefer racked up a team-high 10 points, and Adler chipped in nine as Highlands won its fifth straight game and improved to 10-1 in its last 11.

   Bearcats senior center Michele Judy led all scorers with 12 points.

   ST. HENRY 56, HARRISON COUNTY 51 – Sophomore guard Jordan Miller hit a pair of late field goals to ice the game for the Crusaders.

   Sophomore forward Karly Lehmkuhl scored all six of her points in the fourth quarter for St. Henry, which snapped its four-game losing streak.

   Miller led the team in points with 14, and senior guard Kelly Coburn had 12.

   NOTRE DAME 57, NEWPORT CENTRAL CATHOLIC 30 – Pandas senior forward Olivia Voskuhl scored seven points in the third quarter to help blow the game open.

   Voskuhl notched a game-best 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Junior guard Elly Ogle and senior guard Kindsey Bernhard added eight points each as Notre Dame won its eighth straight game.

   Junior forward Nicole Kiernan scored 11 points to pace the Thoroughbreds.

   Scott hit 9-of-13 foul shots, and she also grabbed 11 rebounds.

   Junior guard Brooke Maines finished with 12 points for Conner.

   Bulldogs senior guard Tamra Holder led all scorers with 23 points.

   Senior guard Rachel Hartig hit four free throws to help the Mustangs seal the game.

   Mayhaus scored eight of her points in the second quarter as Holy Cross opened up a 20-point lead

by halftime.

   Senior guard DeAsia Beal also scored eight points in the second frame, finishing with 13 points, five steals and three assists.

   Wildcats freshman guard Shaunye Stanley pulled down 14 rebounds.

   Freshman guard Kira Ross paced the Tigers with 12 points.
