Eighth-grade first baseman Kennedy Baugh drove in four runs, including a three-run homer as Simon Kenton beat Brossart, 13-4 on Tuesday.
Baugh singled home a run in the first inning, and she smacked her first home run of the season over the left field fence in the second inning to key a five-run frame that saw the Pioneers extend their lead to eight.
Simon Kenton senior right-hander Erica Lang won her second game of the season, and she belted an RBI single in the second inning and added a run-scoring double in the fifth.

HOLMES 11, COVINGTON LATIN 7 – Bulldogs sophomore pitcher Taylor Brashear tripled home three runs in the second inning and struck out 10 to earn the win.
Senior catcher Whittley Slover and junior first baseman Destini Golsby added two RBI each for Holmes. Slover plated two with a fifth-inning double, and Golsby’s ground out in the first inning scored a pair.
