Cooper junior Zach McNeil shot 40 to tie for medalist honors as the Jaguars edged Beechwood, 169-173 on Wednesday.

Tigers senior Justin Parker also shot a 40.

MEDALISTS: McNeil (C) and Parker (B) 5-over 40s on the front nine at Summit Hills. OTHER GOOD SCORES: Smith (C) 41, Schilling (B) 42. RECORDS: Cooper 3-0-1, Beechwood 1-3.

GRANT COUNTY 170, SIMON KENTON 189 – Sophomore Cody Kellam medaled for the first time this season to lead the Braves.

Kellam birdied the sixth en route to shooting a match-low 37.

MEDALIST: Kellam (GC) 2-over 37 on the front nine at Eagle Creek. RECORDS: Grant County 1-1, Simon Kenton 0-2.
