Gallatin County senior Greg Humphries fired a 34, but Walton-Verona beat the Wildcats, 162-185 on Thursday.

Humphries eagled the second hole and birdied three.

Sophomore Jacob Poore led the Bearcats – who remained unbeaten – with a 37.

MEDALIST: Humphries (GC) 2-under 34 on the front nine at Sugar Bay. OTHER GOOD SCORE: Poore (WV) 37. RECORDS: Walton-Verona 3-0, Gallatin County 2-3.

ST. HENRY 171, HOLY CROSS 205 – Sophomore Luke Tobergte fired a 40 to lead the Crusaders.

MEDALIST: Tobergte (SH) 5-over 40 on the back nine at Twin Oaks. RECORDS: St. Henry 2-1, Holy Cross 1-2.
