Junior outside hitter Kaitlin Murray racked up 14 kills and six aces as Simon Kenton (4-0) defeated Highlands (2-2), 25-9, 25-15, 18-25, 25-20 on Thursday.

Senior outside hitter Samantha Eudy finished with 13 kills and six aces for the Pioneers, who have won four straight matches to open the season.

PANDAS STILL UNBEATEN – Junior setter Elly Ogle dished for 20 assists as Notre Dame (5-0) beat Holy Cross (2-1), 26-24, 25-12.

Junior libero Meredith Klare added 17 digs for the Pandas, who have swept all five of their matches this season.

BROSSART TAKES DOWN VILLA – Senior libero Emily Greis rolled up 17 digs as Brossart (3-0) defeated Villa Madonna (3-3), 25-16, 25-17.

Senior outside hitter Brannon Hehn tallied five kills for the Mustangs, who remained unbeaten.

ST. HENRY FALLS TO SACRED HEART – St. Henry senior outside hitter Abbey Bessler recorded 11 kills but Louisville Sacred Heart (2-0) defeated St. Henry (4-2), 25-14, 25-20, 25-16.

Senior setter Rachel Fortner dished for 12 assists for the Crusaders.

BELLEVUE GETS PAST GRANT – Senior outside hitter Kendall Schmits totaled seven kills as Bellevue (6-5) defeated Grant County (3-2), 25-18, 25-19, 25-18.

Senior setter Jennifer Sexton chipped in with 10 assists for the Tigers.

SCOTT BEATS CLARK – Senior outside hitter Andrea Porter piled up 17 kills, 10 digs and five aces as Scott (1-0) defeated Clark County (1-2), 25-20, 25-18, 25-22.

Sophomore setter Jenna Trimpe added 33 assists in the Eagles’ win in their season opener.

BEECHWOOD TOPS CAMPBELL – Senior outside hitter Elizabeth Fry tallied 14 kills and 20 digs as Beechwood (4-2) defeated Campbell County (1-3), 25-17, 25-15, 25-18.

Senior middle blocker Courtney Boyle finished with eight kills and 12 digs as the Tigers won their fourth straight match.
