Senior outside hitter Makenzie Phelps recorded nine kills as Bellevue (13-7) defeated Bracken County (9-10), 25-16, 25-8, 29-27 on Wednesday.

Senior outside hitter Kendall Schmits rolled up 10 digs and senior setter Jennifer Sexton added nine for the Tigers, who have won six of their last seven matches.

RYLE SINKS SCOTT – Sophomore outside hitter/setter Ashley Bush tallied nine kills and 11 assists as Ryle (15-5) defeated Scott (9-13), 25-8, 25-22, 25-11.

Junior outside hitter Harper Hempel added six kills and 14 assists for the Raiders, who have won four of their last five matches.

LUDLOW SWEEPS WILLIAMSTOWN – Senior outside hitter Emily Kroger finished with seven kills and three aces as Ludlow (10-5) defeated Williamstown (6-10), 25-16, 15-25, 25-19.

Junior outside hitter Nicole Frevola chipped in with four kills and five aces in the Panthers’ win.
