Campbell County lost to Brossart by 15 in the regular season, but the Camels beat the Mustangs, 47-42 in the District 37 final at Campbell County Middle School on Friday.
Senior guard Taylor Robinson led Campbell County in scoring with 17 points, and senior guard Molly Kitchen chipped in nine.
Camels senior center Kaytlin Siegmundt, who averages 15 points per game, was held scoreless through three quarters, but she hit five free throws in the final period to help ice the game.
Junior center Sarah Futscher paced Brossart with 15 points.
Campbell County won its third straight district title and has beat the Mustangs in the championship game for the second consecutive year.

HIGHLANDS 66, NEWPORT 27 – Freshman guard Brianna Adler and senior guard Vanessa Fisse combined for seven 3-pointers in the Bluebirds’ win in the District 36 final at Highlands.
Adler led all scorers with 15 points, all coming on treys, and Fisse hit a pair of shots from behind the arc and added 12 points. Senior center Leah Schaefer also finished in double figures for Highlands, scoring 10 points.
Freshman Kylie Orr paced the Wildcats with 13 points.
