Colonels recover own fumble in end zone

   Junior Joe Radenhausen recovered a fumble in the end zone for the go-ahead touchdown as Dixie Heights edged Simon Kenton, 21-15 on Thursday.

   Radenhausen fell on a teammate’s fumble on a running play to cap off a Colonels scoring drive with five minutes left in regulation.

   Dixie Heights sophomore quarterback Drew Moore was 21-for-29 for 197 yards, and he rushed 13 times for 62 yards and the first two Colonels touchdowns.
 
   The Pioneers were led by junior wide receiver Grant Wassom, who caught six passes for 99 yards and one TD, and senior running back Andrew Sampson, who rushed 15 times for 80 yards and one score.

   Dixie Heights snapped a four-game losing streak and won its first district game while Simon Kenton finishes 2-2 in the district.
