Louisville-Kentucky football game sold out

Tickets still available for Eastern Ky.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville’s football season opener against Kentucky on Saturday, Sept. 4 at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium is sold out.

The sellout includes a group of tickets returned by UK’s visiting team allotment.

UofL has sold more than 41,000 season tickets to date. The school can sell about 44,000 season tickets for the 55,000 seat stadium.

The Cardinal’s Saturday, Sept. 11 game against Eastern Kentucky still has about 1,200 tickets available. Tickets may be purchased with no service fee at the U of L ticket office. Tickets can also be purchased by visiting ticketmaster.com , calling (502) 361-3100 or visiting any Ticketmaster Ticket Center statewide.
