Even though it's been a couple years since they were embroiled in controversy, Tiger Woods and Michael Vick are still the most disliked athletes in America, according to a new survey by Forbes.com.

The 2012 list, which was released on Tuesday, used information gathered by Nielsen and E-Poll Market Research. The survey measured public attitudes toward professional athletes by asking people to describe athletes they "dislike", "dislike somewhat", or "dislike a lot".

Woods and Vick are tied atop the list with a 60 percent dislike from fans. Close behind Woods and Vick in the top 10 list is Plaxico Burress (56 percent) followed by Ndamukong Suh (51 percent) and Kris Humphries (50 percent).

Rounding out 6-10 are:

- LeBron James - 48 percent
- Kobe Bryant - 45 percent
- Terrell Owens - 45 percent
- Alex Rodriguez  - 44 percent
- Kurt Busch - 42 percent

According to Forbes, candidates were limited to those scoring at least 10 percent awareness with the public.

Athletes previously on the list who did not make it this year include: Mark McGwire, Randy Moss, Manny Ramirez and Ben Rothlisberger.
