CINCINNATI - Constant rainfall Tuesday morning has prompted The National Weather Service to issue flood warnings and advisories for a large portion of the Tri-State.
A Flood Advisory has been issued for for the following Ohio counties until 2 p.m.: Northern Brown, Clermont, Southwestern Clinton, Western Highland and Southern Warren. Most of Southwest Indiana is under a Flood Advisory until 12:15 p.m. Many locations within this advisory have already picked more than an inch of rain with another half inch possible.
The following counties are under a Flood Warning until 4:15 p.m.: Northern Boone (Kentucky), Dearborn (Indiana) and Hamilton (Ohio).
There are reports of high water on numerous Tri-State roadways, especially on the westside of Cincinnati. A woman had to be rescued after her car became stuck in high water at Guerley Road and Sunset Avenue in West Price Hill. Several streams and creeks in Whitewater Township have left their banks.
Irwin-Simpson Road in Deerfield Township is closed at Meadow Drive and Wood Trail Drive due to high water.
