Winter Weather Advisory issued for Tri-State on Friday and Saturday

CINCINNATI - The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the entire Tri-State that began Friday afternoon.

The advisory runs until noon today.

A rain/snow mix began Friday afternoon which accumulated to about an inch of snow by nightfall. According to the NWS, northern pockets of the Tri-State received an inch and a half. Snow showers will continue to fall early this morning, but the area will receive only about half an inch more.

Temperatures will be in the teens this morning. Highs today will only reach the upper 20s, with tonight's lows dropping into the teens.
