CINCINNATI - A Cincinnati tradition will be lighting up Mirror Lake in Eden Park on Saturday night. Balluminaria has become a traditional way to kick off the holiday season in Cincinnati.
Balluminaria is Nov. 17 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Mirror Lake in Eden Park. Up to nine hot air balloons will glow around the lake, creating a glowing reflection in the water.
There will be events for kids, including face painting, nature actives, carolers, balloon twisters and food and hot chocolate will be for sale.
Fifth Third Bank is sponsoring the event. Cincinnati parks officials say there is plenty of free on-street parking throughout the Mt. Adams neighborhood; plus $5 parking in the lot off of Martin Drive between Cliff Drive and Parkside Place.
