In case you’ve been under a rock for the past few years, Washington Park has undergone some changes recently. One of those changes is a Cowboy-Stadium-sized screen that shows movies every Saturday night until the end of August.
The best part? It’s absolutely free. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides airs this week, followed by Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows Aug. 18; the summer wraps up with a screening of Casablanca Aug. 25. Couples are invited to lay down their blankets, curl up on the Civic Lawn and enjoy a date night with the city footing the bill.
INFO: 9 p.m. Saturday Aug. 11. Free. Washington Park. 1230 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine. washingtonpark.org/events .
