Free health clinics. Lemonade stands. Bike repair shops. Mini urban farms. Art installations. All possibilities to squeeze into a standard downtown Cincinnati parking spot, which typically measures somewhere around 8 feet by 18 feet. Park(ing) Day, the fourth Friday of each September, is the day to make it happen; parking meters across the country get hijacked today to demonstrate the need for more artsy public space in urban areas.

See what Cincinnati creatives dream up and watch drab parking spaces come alive. Confirmed locations include Losantiville (1311 Main St.), Streetpops (1437 Main St.) and Coffee Emporium (110 E. Central Parkway), among others. Check out the Facebook event for more locations. 5-7 p.m. Over-the-Rhine, Downtown.
