Planning a move into Cincinnati’s urban core can be intimidating; real estate is tough to sort through, and you have to work a little bit to find your geographic niche. It’s also game of hardball; properties are often snatched up at lightning-fast speeds. Live it Up Downtown intends to celebrate the verve and vibrancy that goes along with residing downtown while still providing ease and a sense of comfort for those that are thinking about taking the leap.

In true representation of life downtown, the event will feature live music, entertainment and a slew of food and drink, including food trucks Streetpops, C’est Cheese and Café de Wheels. Have a one-on-one with a knowledgeable realtor or talk to members of the Downtown Residents Council to hear insider scoop on the nature of life downtown. From 3-6 p.m., six properties available for rental or for sale will be available for viewing, including The American Building, Lofts on Fountain Square, The McAlpin, The Glass House, 18 E. Fourth St. or Current at the Banks. Free. 3-11 p.m. Saturday Sept. 15. Fountain Square, Fifth and Vine streets, Downtown. downtowncincinnati.com .
