Getting ready for the big day? Then you don't want to miss the annual Wendy's Bridal show which returns to the Duke Energy Center this weekend.
Attendees can talk directly with more than 150 wedding professionals and check out the latest fashions for 2013.

2. Ice skating on Fountain Square
While our summertime version of Fountain Square holds its charm with its warm-weather hoopla of constant live music and dancing, wintry Fountain Square comes alive in its own rite with an ice rink rivaling the size of the rink at the Rockefeller Center. 3. Enjoy half-price admission at the Cincinnati Zoo
The holidays have come and gone, but your family doesn't have to stay cooped up inside until spring returns. The Cincinnati Zoo is now offering half-price admission to customers every day through Feb. 28 as part of the Penguin Days celebration.
On the weekends you can see a variety of animal encounters and enjoy heated indoor animal exhibits throughout the park. If you feel like bundling up, you can also watch the penguins, polar bears, snow monkeys and elephants enjoy the cold weather.
And you don't miss the Penguin Parade which takes place every day at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

4. Southgate House Revival Bazaar and Marketplace
It’s a bazaar! Get lost amongst hidden treasures and gems featuring booths and wares from Cincinnati USA Music Heritage Foundation, Whispering Beard Folk Festival, Antiques and Collectibles by Picker Square, Wisdom Tree, Bethany Rose Pottery, Bang Bang Salon and many more.
There will be DJ sets by Devout Wax, featuring two curated, eclectic DJ sets by Margaret Darling (The Seedy Seeds) and Jonathan Goolsby (host of WVQC’s “Salina Underground” radio program) spinning records by Cincinnati artists and regional acts.

5. Comedian Jeremy Essig returns to the Tri-State
Not only has Cincinnati produced dozens of homegrown stand-up comics, it has been the adopted hometown of several more. That list includes Greg Warren, Mike Lukas and Jeremy Essig. The latter came to the area to attend grad school at Miami University, but decided to drop out four days before the start of classes. Instead, he started doing stand-up at Joker’s in Dayton and Go Bananas in Montgomery.
