Need something to do this weekend to help digest all that turkey? WCPO and CityBeat have teamed up to bring you the top 9 Thanksgiving weekend things to do in the Tri-State.

1. Get In The Holiday Spirit:
The annual Macy’s Light Up The Square is a tradition that no Cincinnatian should miss. The holiday season officially gets underway in the Tri-State with a 60-foot sparkling spruce and Christmas lights galore Friday night at 7 p.m. on Fountain Square. Live music from Zumba, food from mobile vendors and the just-open U.S. Bank Ice Rink will all be on hand to get you caroling all the way to Dec. 25. Fireworks will end the event with a bang as well. Find all the details by clicking here .

2. Drive Through The Holidays:
Sharon Woods' Holiday In Lights is the ultimate comfort in enjoying the Christmas season. This Tri-State tradition is a mile-long Christmas lights display that you can view from your car, heater blasting. After the long and lit up drive full of the latest and greatest holiday light designs, Santaland awaits so kids can meet the big guy while adults enjoy all the best holiday tunes from local musicians. Drive to the details here .

3. Accept That It's Not Summer Anymore:
Forget the gift cards, Winterfair has something unique for grandma this year. The 32nd annual Winterfair returns to the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington this weekend with the smallest of gifts to ones worth several thousand dollars. One-of-a-kind glass earrings to specialty barbecue sauce, Winterfair has it all. Get the details on this weekend's one stop shopping for more than what's on sale on Black Friday here .

4. Spend 127 Hours In A Movie Theater:
The new movie 127 Hours is based on mountain climber Aron Ralston's real-life story of when he became trapped by a boulder and was forced to cut off his own arm in order to save his life. This incredible true story will surely move you and you'll be telling your friends about it afterwards. The movie is not only packed with an incredible plot, but it is done to perfection even with a seemingly stagnate shooting style around Ralston being trapped. Read a review on the movie and get showtimes here .

5. Combine Art And Kids:
Not that you have to press a kid to get interested in art, but the Contemporary Arts Center is encouraging families of all kinds to come down with Family Saturday at CAC. Combining the art of Rosson Crow's Myth of the American Motorcycle, kids of all ages are getting an extension of the fun by giving families the opportunities to build Rosson Crow-inspired hats. It's a great way to check out an amazing exhibit at CAC and engage the family that's in town for Turkey Day together around a little art. Get the full details on Saturday at CAC here .

6. See A Big Damn Band:
Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band is coming to the Southgate House this Saturday with their revamped sound. Peyton had to drop his brother/drummer from the group last December, but him and his wife found a suitable replacement and the group cranked out their fourth full-length album that received critical acclaim. They take on country and delta blues with high-octane energy and have warmed up crowds for the likes of ZZ Top and Flogging Molly. These guys don't mess around and you won't want to miss them. For the big damn details, click here .

7. Light Up The Sky With Thunder:
For those willing to go along for the ride, the two intermixed exhibitions now at Thunder-Sky Inc. in Northside are post-psychedelic trips into alternative ways of processing thought. The exhibit lives up to the deep description with Rainy Day and Welcome to the Lonely Mountain Community Center. The exhibits will showcase unique forms of art in bulletin board collages to butterfly charts to abstract portraits. Think of it as a nature walk of color. Get the details on this beautiful presentation here .

8. When You're Done Digesting, Eat:
When you're finally done digesting all that Thanksgiving food, you've run around town trying to drop the pounds and you're finally hungry again, stop in to the new Clifton restaurant La Poste. Knowledgeable staff, clever decor and simple, quality dishes are charms of La Poste that make it a perfect spot for lunch or dinner. A reasonably priced spot that offers uniquely-prepared American food, you'll find delicious pork tenderloin, chicken fricassee, an extensive wine list and tasty appetizers at La Poste that won't dissapoint. Get a full review of the restaurant here .

9. Make Love Your Drug:
The new movie Love & Other Drugs tells the story of an anti-hero finding the girl of his dreams who suffers from Parkinson's. The two can't quite commit to each other and the story tries to convey their spark, but falls short of making it convincing. An interesting plot doesn't quite sell as the film bounces from drama to comedy to indie like a pinball. Worth a watch, but a forewarning: This is a mature audience movie as the filmmakers tried hard to sell their visuals based on the physical appeal of both actors. Get a full review of the movie that comes out this weekend here .
