'Dancing with the Stars' contestant Melissa Rycroft rushed to hospital with head injury

'Dancing With The Stars' contestant Melissa Rycroft was rushed to hospital after a fall during her rehearsals for Monday's show.

The 29-year-old 'Bachelor' star was treated at an Los Angeles hospital for a head and neck injury and was released, according to a report from People.

The fall happened at CBS studios when Rycroft was working on a group dance number. She's one of eight contestants still remaining on the 'All Star' edition of the show.

Rycroft is expected to perform two numbers on Monday.

Melissa is a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.

She gained celebrity status while starring on The Bachelor and accepting Jason Mesnick's proposal. Mesnick ended up changing his mind and chose runner up Molly Malaney as his match.

Melissa stars in a reality show about her family. It's called Melissa & Tye.
