It is lining up to be a who's who of performers for this year's Academy Awards ceremony.
Singer and actress Barbra Streisand has now agreed to perform on the Oscar stage. It will be the first time in 36 years that Streisand will perform. She last sang at the Oscars in 1977 when she belted out a song from the movie "A Star Is Born." That same year, she won best original song for "Evergreen."
Also slated to perform this year is Adele who will sing her first live performance of "Skyfall," the theme from the latest James Bond movie.
Norah Jones will perform "Everybody Needs A Friend" from the movie "Ted" which was co-written by Seth MacFarlane. MacFarlane is also host of this year's Oscars.
The 85th Academy Awards will air on Feb. 24.
