CINCINNATI - With Labor Day, and the unofficial end of summer now over, it is time to start thinking about holiday shopping and those gifts you need to buy.
Toys 'R' Us announced a new layaway plan on Tuesday. The company will waive its layaway service fee for a short time and there will be no minimum purchase requirement.
Layaway will be free until Halloween. After that, it will cost you $5.
Layaway plans have become more popular due to the uncertain economy. Just last month, Walmart expanded its layaway program for holiday shoppers.
