CINCINNATI - Two police departments from both sides of the Ohio River worked together on Sunday to track down a robbery suspect.

Cincinnati police officers took James Hill of Bond Hill into custody at the intersection of Court and Vine Streets just after 12 p.m.

Covington police tell 9 News their chase for Hill began after they received a report of a strong armed robbery of two women on Court Street in Covington.

Officers chased Hill across the Suspension Bridge into Cincinnati where they lost sight of him. A Cincinnati police officer on bike patrol spotted Hill minutes later on Vine Street where he was arrested without incident.

Hill is in the Hamilton County Justice Center being held on warrants from Springfield Township and University of Cincinnati Police while Covington police continue their investigation.
