ALEXANDRIA, Ky. - One person was hurt in a Northern Kentucky crash that involved a semi and a car.
The crash happened around 1:15 p.m. on the AA Highway near Poplar Ridge Road in Alexandria.
One person was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. Their identity or role in the crash have not been released.
The car involved in the crash appears to be totaled. The severity of the damage to the semi has not been released.
The crash happened near a memorial that was placed on the side of the road for a previous crash in the area.
The incident remains under investigation.
