Busken Bakery celebrates '7 dozen years' with free food

CINCINNATI - A sweet tradition in the Tri-State is celebrating 84 years of business with the gift of free food.

Busken Bakery is giving away glazed donuts to customers Friday and small cupcakes Saturday to celebrate “seven dozen years in the Queen City,” according to its Facebook page . Customers also can enter a drawing for a chance to win 84 donuts or one of 84 free cakes.

The bakery gave away smiley cookies Thursday to kick off the free-food frenzy.

Busken opened its first bakery in 1938 and has been producing goodies ever since. The bakery’s Madison Road location is open 24 hours.
