CINCINNATI - All dressed up and nowhere to go this New Year's Eve? Don't worry, there's plenty to do in the Tri-State to ring in the New Year.
Whether you're looking for a glamorous night out with friends or an evening out with the entire family, there's plenty to do this year.
Below is a list of events and venues taking place on Dec. 31, 2012.

Family Friendly Events:
— New Year's Eve Blast on Fountain Square: Enjoy free ice skating, fireworks, a special New Year's Eve countdown, and live music. Adult beverages will also be available at the Christian Moerlein ice bar.
Time: 8 p.m. to midnight
— The Ball on the Square in Oakley: Celebrate with the entire family at the biggest outdoor party of the year. There will be entertainment and refreshments for both adults and children throughout the evening, including a Rozzi fireworks show and live music.
Time: 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
— Happy Zoo Year: The Cincinnati Zoo is calling on "party animals" of all ages to attend the annual Happy ZOO Year bash. Festivities include a Madcap Puppet Theater, costume characters and an early countdown with fireworks presented by Rozzi.
Time: 5-9 p.m.
— New Year's Eve Kids Countdown: Bring the entire family to the Newport Aquarium to celebrate the New Year. Q102 radio personality Katie Walters will host the event along with the Aquarium theater staff for an evening of music, games, giveaways, and a New Year’s countdown with Scuba Santa.
Time: 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
— Family NYE Nature Celebration: The Woodland Mound Seasongood Nature Center is hosting its annual Family NYE Nature Celebration. The entire family can enjoy a night of crafts, live animal programs and entertainment. A special ball drop will happen at 9 p.m.
Time: 6 p.m to 10 p.m.
— NYE Celebration Cruise: Looking for something outside of the box this year? Ring in the new year while cruising on the Ohio River. BB Riverboats is hosting its annual NYE Celebration Cruise, which will include a buffet dinner, dancing, champagne toast, party favors and more. The cost is $80 per person. Get more details below.

— Bootsy Collin's New Year's Eve Funk Bash: It's time to get your funk on. This New Year's Eve celebration is guaranteed to be like no other with Bootsy Collins as your host. There will be live racing, a rare live performance by Bootsy himself, dinner buffet, cocktails, party favors and champagne. Admission to the park is free, but NYE packages are available from $10 to $125.

— Mt. Adams Pavilion's New Year's Eve Ball: If you're looking to dance the night away, Mt. Adams Pavilion's New Year's Eve Ball is where you want to be. Enjoy two floors of dancing with party favors, appetizers and a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets start at $35.
Time: 9 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
— Longworth's NYE Party: Dance. Dance. Dance. Starting at 8 p.m. Longworth's will be hosting a dueling DJ set and a complimentary champagne toast. Tickets are $15-$20.
Time: 8 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
— MOTR Pub: Feel like dancing to live music as you ring in 2013? Main Street's MOTR Pub is hosting a New Year's Eve bash with local dancy-Indie-pop duo You, You're Awesome. There will be plenty of champagne to go around too! Admission is free.
Time: 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
— Japp's New year's Eve Party and Olive Drop: The hottest dance floor in the city is hosting one of the biggest parties of the year on Monday, Dec. 31. Enjoy live Rockabilly music along with your favorite dancing tunes. At midnight an olive ball will drop at the same time the Time Square ball drops. And don't forget to stop by the photobooth. Admission is free.
Time: 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
— Night at the Moulin Rouge: Enjoy a Night at the Moulin Rouge with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra at Music Hall. The event will feature Moulin Rouge-themed concert that will feature hits from the movie and other French songs. Ticket prices start at $10.
