Police investigate alleged attempted rape of UC student

CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati has issued a campus crime alert following the attempted rape of a student.
The alleged incident happened around 2 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of Riddle Road. The victim was thrown to the ground but managed to fight off the suspect as he tried to unbuckle his pants, according to police.
The suspect is described as:
- Light-skinned black male
- In his 20s
- Approximately 6-feet tall
- Weighing between 170-175 pounds
- Last seen wearing a black and grey checkered top, black pants and gym shoes
Police have not released any other information at this time.
