Semi overturns, shuts down I-71 in N.Ky.

GLENCOE, Ky. - All lanes of southbound I-71 in Gallatin County have reopened following an accident involving a semi Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened north of the Glencoe exit shortly after 4 p.m.

The driver of the truck was transported to the hospital. Their name and condition have not been released.

Police reopened the interstate shortly after 5:30 p.m.

Traffic was backed up for several miles while police investigated.

Police have not released any other information at this time.
