Superman set to save Cincinnati

CINCINNATI - So long, Metropolis.

The Man of Steel has arrived in the Queen City.

After a month-long delay, issue number 703 of DC Comics' Superman series arrived in stores on Wednesday. The edition is called 'Superman Comes To Cincinnati.'

This latest adventure featuring the superhero is part of a 'national walking tour,' allowing him to re-connect with everyday people in cities around the country.

So why did Superman decide to come here? "You know, I think we're a nice destination in the Midwest," said Mark Craddock, manager of Comic Book World in Florence. "It's awesome to have DC kinda tie some of their promotion to local cities and get some local support."

And here's a spoiler alert comic book fans: Batman is also in the issue.
